What this site does not do
There are no contact forms, no newsletter signup, no user accounts and no comment function. Nothing you do on this site is stored in a database by us. No analytics or tracking tools are in use, and this site sets no cookies for advertising, analytics or profiling. Getting in touch means writing an email, and that only happens if you choose to.
Hosting and server logs
This site is hosted by Hostinger Operations, UAB, Švitrigailos str. 34, 03230 Vilnius, Lithuania. Lithuania is a member state of the European Union, so the data is processed within the EU under the GDPR.
Like almost every website, the hosting servers record standard technical information when a page is requested: the IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, the referring page and basic browser and operating system details. This data is generated automatically, is used only to operate and secure the site, and is not combined with other data or used to identify you.
Fonts
The typefaces on this site are loaded from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests those files from Google’s servers, which means your IP address is transmitted to Google. This is standard practice on the web, but it is a transfer of personal data to a third party and you should know about it. Google’s privacy information is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
Links to other sites
This site links to external pages. Once you follow such a link, the privacy policy of that site applies, not this one. We have no influence over what those operators collect.
If you write to us, your message and your email address stay with us and are used only to reply and to continue the conversation. We do not pass them on and we do not add you to any list.
Client information
Information shared with us in the course of an engagement is treated as confidential. It is used only to deliver the agreed work, is not published, and is not passed on to third parties without agreement.
Your rights
Under Swiss data protection law, and under the GDPR if you are in the EU, you can ask what data concerning you is held, request correction or deletion, and object to processing. For this site that will usually be a short answer, because very little is held. Write to hello@biedermannconsulting.com and we will respond.
Changes
If the site changes in a way that affects any of the above, for example if analytics are added, this page will be updated before that happens.
